Export an ESG PDF Report
How to export a client-facing ESG PDF report from a fund or portfolio.
The ESG PDF report is a client-facing output summarising a portfolio's sustainability performance across ESG scores, SDGs, temperature score, and more.
There are two layout options:
- Extended — spacious, larger text; better for reading
- Compact — horizontally oriented; better for quick reference
Steps
- Open the relevant fund or portfolio.
- Click the three-dot menu (⋮) in the top-right corner of the screen.
- Select Export PDF.
- Select the portfolio you want to export.
- Select the report type: ESG report for end clients.
- Select the content to include:
- ESG Scores — overall ESG analysis (coverage shown as % of portfolio weight analysed)
- Controversial Activities — flags companies involved in controversial sectors
- Business Involvements — companies with revenue above a set threshold in specific activities (default threshold: 5%; adjustable)
- Sanctioned Nations Involvements — exposure to companies operating in sanctioned countries
- SDGs — UN Sustainable Development Goal alignment (coverage shown as % weight analysed)
- Tick or untick each section depending on what you want in the report.
- ESG Scores — overall ESG analysis (coverage shown as % of portfolio weight analysed)
- Choose branding: Connect Earth's logo and colour, or Connect Earth's logo with your brand colour.
- Choose layout: Extended or Compact.
- Click Export.
Coverage percentage
The weight analysed percentage shown next to each section tells you what proportion of your portfolio has data coverage for that metric. Lower coverage may affect the completeness of the output.
