Generate a PAI Statement

How to generate a Principal Adverse Impacts (PAI) statement at fund or entity level.

The PAI Statement is your annual entity-level disclosure under SFDR Article 4. It is due by 30 June of the year following the reporting period.

Steps

  1. Navigate to your fund or portfolio in the product.
  2. Select the relevant reporting period (year and quarter end — PAI reporting is typically based on year-end data).
  3. Go to the Disclosure / PAI view.
  4. Review the PAI values — these are calculated automatically from your holdings data.
  5. Export as PDF or Word using the export button.

Entity-level PAI Statement (across multiple funds)

You can generate a PAI statement that aggregates data across all funds at the entity level. Navigate to the entity-level view (rather than an individual fund), select the period, and export from there.

Check GHG figures in entity-level exports

If you see unexpectedly large values in an entity-level export, check that GHG emissions figures are not being multiplied incorrectly — this is a known data check to run.

Multi-year comparison

Each PAI statement export covers a single reporting year. To include prior-year comparison data (for example, 2023 and 2024 side by side), generate separate exports for each year. The Word export format is the most practical to combine manually.

Common questions

For PAI 11 — is it UNGC and OECD, or UNGC or OECD? The PAI module implements PAI 11 as "and" — a company must have processes in place to monitor compliance with both the UNGC principles and the OECD Guidelines to be considered compliant on this indicator.

When is the PAI Statement due? By 30 June of the year following the reporting period. For example, if your reporting period is 1 January–31 December 2024, your PAI Statement is due by 30 June 2025.
